With a 58-year history, Centerstone is one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit providers of community-based mental health and addiction services, offering a comprehensive array of mental health services, substance abuse and addictions treatment, educational services, housing and supports.
Centerstone is the result of the affiliation of 12 organizations (formerly nine 501(c)3 community mental health centers, one university sponsored mental health center, one rural health clinic and one veterans services organization).
The eight first-tier corporations and multiple second-tier corporations that comprise Centerstone has a primary footprint in Tennessee, Indiana and Illinois. Operating with more than 2,600 employees and hundreds of volunteers, Centerstone provides services to 84,000 individuals and families in more than 146 facilities, 220 partnership locations and through a provider network in 32 U.S. states and one Canadian province. Centerstone is CARF-accredited.
